We will be discussing the dire impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on workers in the cultural sector, many of whom suffer from precarious work arrangements, variable funding, or insufficient social and economic support. We will also be discussing the unique ways in which racism impacts workers of color in the cultural sector.

Based on these discussions, we will work towards the adoption of a cultural workers’ manifesto that will serve to highlight these challenges and prioritize the work of those who provide such critical support for the culture our society so desperately needs.
